But supportive treatment in the mean time will make you feel a lot better. Do you have unstable moods? Lithium will help there, take 15-30mg elemental lithium as Lithium Orotate form per day with meals. ==>I wanted to report something that happened here, we had one of our hair tests where we had Lithium in the low red, only one and this is the first time any essential element showed up in the low red. We supplemented only 3 mgs per day of supplemental Lithium Orotate (4.5 mgs was the recommended dose for her) and it raised her Lithium to normal in just 3 months. However, it tanked her thyroid and required that we raise the level of Armour. It is said that low supplemental levels cannot upset the thyroid, but that is what we saw here. Its possible the two things are not related but just, fyi, careful with the Lithium. If anyone can shed some light on this, please do. Calcium that is high in the hair means it is tending towards low in the body. You can supplement with it, but are more likely to achieve results by helping you thyroid function. High calcium is associated with sluggish thyroid. Also the parathyroid controls calcium levels, so a desiccated thyroid (Armour) would help supply some of this. Other options are you are not absorbing it. With the all-low presentation that is likely, so increasing vit C/Betaine HCL/digestive enzymes with meals would help > Dean, if you remember on my first hair analysis I had an overtly high > mercury reading, compared to the relatively low one on this hair > test, which makes me think that actually some of the mercury has come > out. Do I need to worry about the high antimony? ! Since we could not use the counting rules on that old test from another lab, that might not be true. Your body may in the mean time become overwhelmed and could no longer excrete mercury. That is where the real problems begin. We know you still have lots of mercury hidden because of this hair test. What was the date of each test and what had you done between each one, and had you chelated? The antimony will come down with DMSA, DMPS and ALA. Unless you are still exposed to a source. It may be higher due to the all-low reading. Same for mercury. Dean
