Guest guest
RBC stands for Red Blood Cell. Testing minerals in the RBC is just that,. testign for what is INSIDE the cells rather than just what is in the blood. whivch woiudl be serum magnesium. What is inside the cells is MUCH more important than what is in the blood so this is a much more accurate assesment of the levels in your body. As dfor why magnesium is important.. we could write a book on that subject. Jst do a Google search on magnesium benefits. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ > just wondering what RBC magnesium means, and what the importance of magnesium is... > muscle function? sorry to be clueless, i just have been blindly supplementing and have done no research on the matter. my serum magnesium levels are 2.0 (1.6-2.6) and i have been taking 400mg of magnesium oxide twice a day. stay the course? > > > >> what is a good dose of magnesium for someone who's test results showed low end of normal? thanks,s >> >> > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences.
