Anyone have ovarian cysts with their thyroid situation? I have an 8 cm cyst and my doctor wants to do surgery. I am still quite hypothyroid. Does anyone know a natural remedy for ovarian cysts?

Enough thyro dmay well cure the cysts. Low thyroid and thu low iodine

causes these cysts most the time. While some recommend taking iodine ,

I believe if oyu tke enough THYROID (made of iodine) you will not need

to add mroe iodine and thus risk more RT3

I

have cysts as well, one with an irregular edge. I ditched one gynecologist

because he spent sooo little time on the options and gave me almost no

information. I have an appointment with a new doc on Tuesday and am interested

to see what he recommends. I do think that the thyroid medicine will eventually

fix them but it seems to take quite a while to get the thyroid levels up.

You need to make sure your ferritin and cortisol levels are high enough and I

am also estrogen dominant which seems to be a common side effect of hypothyroid

and am taking progesterone for that. Last week I had labs done and was pretty

shocked at my ferretin, progesterone, and testosterone levels. I would be

interested to hear what you eventually decide.
