TK--- because your doctor is probably just listening to the current advertising. most doctors do not understand the chemistry behind chelation and will hurt you despite what they say about never hurting anyone, they all say that. Can anyone explain what this > form of lipoic acid is and what is wrong with it? TK--- it is just the r-form instead of the r&s form together. All the testing of ala in regard to Hg chelation has been done with the regular ala r&s form and most of the chelating by people on the forums. R-ala is an unknown as to if it will work or not, as well or not which is why Andy does not recommend it. At this point it is just a spin on a variation of a product to make more money. > > Guy >
