Guest guest
Claire, Thanks! It's good to hear that it gets better. We know this in our minds, but when you are living through it, it's hard to get past. Thank God for people in your life that continue to tell you, it gets better, and for a supportive husband. Before, I could go for months and months without crying at all! Subject: Re:Crying spellsTo: RT3_T3 Date: Friday, June 4, 2010, 3:15 AM Joan, At my most untreated hypoT, I would go into the doctor and literally CRY for an hour at a time. This is so unlike me: I am normally very even-keeled in spite of a number of traumas in my life. The psychiatrist suggested trying Cytomel for resistant depression, but even when I was finally put on synthroid, it did not help as I wasn't converting. I am on only T.3 now and back to my old self, thank God! Don't think docs really recognize this for what it is. Claire"Is it just me, or does this rt3 thing (hypo thing) cause ridiculous and sporadic crying spells? For years I've had some mild "blues" type depression, but this is ridiculous. After the doctor took me off of my Naturethroid 3 weeks ago, it's steadily getting worse. A friend was going to send me some of HER Cytomel to tide me over until mine came in so I could start taking it, but it's been 5 mailing days, and still nothing! I'm about to lose it here! And still waiting for the doctor to get in and look at the latest lab tests. Ugh. I'm just ready to get started. Anyone got any words of wisdom or good advice? Comfort even? :)"
