Guest guest
In December I learned that I have severe adrenal fatigue via saliva testing. I was low range in my first 2 readings, and below range in my last 2 readings. This past Friday, I had a corti-stim test performed. I have not yet started taking HC. I got the results today. My cortisol started at 12.7 at 2:45 pm and rose to 27.5 at 3:45, an hour later. I am now having doubts whether I need HC. Isn't 12.7 a relatively high cortisol level for mid-afternoon? If so, why would my saliva tests be so different from my serum levels?
