Guest guest
>>TSH 0.250 Range 0.350 - 5.500 uIU/mL Free T4 1.03 Range 0.61 - 1.76 ng/dL Free T3 2.9 Range 2.3 - 4.2 pg/mL With those type of results (low TSH but low to mid range free T's) I assume my problem could still be thyroid related? If so why are the blood levels still so low on 3 grains per day?<< These lavelks, especially T3 which is the active hormone are still WAY too low. T3 needs to be right at the very top of it's range to slightly over for good health. So yes your symptoms are form low thyroid stil. Why on 3 grains? Because the averageneeded is 3-5 grains with some needing even more. You are just barely within the range of what most people need and I think 4 grains is actually a better average. There is a poll on the NTH main group in their polls sectin abotu how much Armoru they are optimal on and four grains seems to be the number one answer. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Thank you for the informative responses. I thought 3 grains was a high end dosage but I am obviously mistaken. What further blood work/saliva work would be good to get at this stage. Tomorrow I plan to embark on the 5 day temperature testing with graph so hopefully that will give some insight into possible adrenal complications or rule them out. Thanks again. So you either aren't on enough thyroid yet or you have another issue that is interefering, such as adrenal fatigue, low iron, etc. Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
