Guest guest
I got up and took the 25 mcgs. Levoxyl plus I took 5 mcgs of cytomel and decided to just see what happens. I also did my first light therapy treatment (30 minutes). I am feeling wired up, but it's weird because it's not as if my heart is racing or my pulse is too high, it just makes me feel wired up and revved up inside is how I can best describe it. I know my ferritin is still low. I suppose as long as pulse isn't too high and heart isn't racing that these feelings I get from thyroid (T3) are not dangerous, just very uncomfortable. First I can't focus on anything from hypo and am going in such slow motion in brain and body that I can't even think straight, and then when I take this stuff I'm so wired I can't sit still long enough to focus or do anything either. It's crazy. I know my ferritin's still low so I hope it gets better when my ferritin is in a high range. I'm getting the timed release T3 today and like you said Val, I might just start with that and stop taking cytomel (even though it's a very low dose) and hope that this plus the light therapy will at least get me functional until I can maybe convince Blanchard to give me a higher dose or SRT3.
