Guest guest
It would depend on the meds. I wouldn't worry about elavil. But some meds might cause problems if you go off them. The first thing I tried was elavil and it made me so sleepy that I could not function so I stopped taking it after about 2 weeks. It worked for the pain immediately but I couldn't handle the grogginess. I needed to go to work with a clear head. Guest guest
At our home page go to Files, then click on Success Stories My success What has helped me Additionally and briefly. Avoid foods which seem to cause flares: cinnamon, celery, cucumber, black pepper, oatmeal, onions, citric acid, corn meal,corn,bran-(all grains). I have a cushion which I made. It is similar to the one at: http://www.icnsales.com/Chair-Cushions-p-1-c-16.html and I have made one which is essentially the same except it does not have a cover. The cover defeats the purpose of the seat and it looks a bit funny but is quite comfortable. It has a hard base and the opening in the center makes it quite comfortable. I have two of them, one for my chair at the computer and one in my car. >what did you use then ora? > >C > > >

Guest guest
Maybe one month isn't enough for you to toally discourage the nerves from misfiring. They have to unlearn the pattern they've establised as I understand this medical intervention. If your pain is being reduced, you might want to stick with it. Keep in mind that sometimes it requires an adjustment upwards in meds to completely control the pain - if you should have some breakthrough pain.GOod luckDustyCarolyn52192@... wrote: he said sometimes 3 months, sometimes 5 months, sometime 5 years.See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
