Guest guest
What are the supplements? Dear Friends: My son is 20 and since he started all of these supplements he doesn't want to talk to anyone, be with anyone, etc. He is going to school (BCC) and doing what he should, but I worry about this. Anyone have the same or similar experience with an Aspie PDD/NOS? Thanks, Sandy

Guest guest
Thanks for answering...the supplements are lithium 5 mgs 2x a day, lexapro, inosotal, vitamin d3,mega folinic, methyl colbamine, and tmg. The doctor said to stop the tmg, mega folinic, and colbamine. I hope that helps. Sandy To: sList Sent: Monday, March 5, 2012 11:30 AMSubject: Re: Anyone? What are the supplements? Guest guest
Sandy: the problem might be the Folinic Acid. Your doctor has him on the right supplements BUT some of the kids DON'T do well on Folinic Acid and need the 5 mtheyltetrahydro folate instead. It's just another type of folate that crosses the Blood Brain Barrier and works on the methylation process. Tell your doctor that this might be the problem and he can order Prothera Labs ( Klaire Labs) "Methylbalance" which has the 5 methyltetrahydrofolate, TMG and the Methyl B12 instead of the folinic acid. And you can take ONE capsule instead of three). This should stop this behavior. Guest guest
My guess is it is not the supplements at all but the Lexapro. I have a friend who went on this and lost her mind. Re: Anyone?
