Millie,

Vaseline cream has a lot of chemical fillers and artificial things in

it - I wouldn't let that stuff near my body, much less my vulva. I know

a doc told you to use it though, and if it helps you, it's great, but

if you are having issues, it could at least be partly due to that. I

use only Burt's Bees or other natural body products, and not much at

all on my vulva other than oil.

wow, that is a lot of stuff you need to use. do you have to use it or

are you just using it to prevent something more from happening? i

mean are you able to have pain free intercourse without all those creams?

what I am using is not the vaseline cream that I think you are thinking I am using, it is

a hand lotion actually that is made by Vaseline. It is very thick and a good buffer. Millie

You know, I don't know. Well, if we don't have

intercourse regularly, I get very score and it

is a little painful, but nothing that bothers me.

I use the cream because the surgeon told me to

use alot of lubrication and I am scared I will

break open. A fear I have always had. Millie

Stacey thank you so much for the offer, after listening

to the girls talk and thinking of my problem, I think well

that it is two things, I am afraid, which is realistic

I think to an extent and not in another. My skin has

thinned because I am 58 and had my ovaries out,

so some of my fear is probably realistic to an point,

and I think that what I have been doing works

and I think I should just continue with what I am

doing, but I thank you for your input. It is kinda

like if it isn't broke don't fix it. Thanks again, Millie

Re: Milly/Life after VVS Surgery

there are many lubes out there that are good quality and the siliconetype of lubes feel like silk on the skin. they do not need constantreapplication like water based lubes. there are lots of brands outthere like PJUR, ID Millenium, System Jo and more. you can do a googlesearch and see if any of those may work for you. Please don't think I am making a sales pitch ( i really want to helppeople feel better) but I am in the adult home party business and selllubes and I almost always use the silicone because it is sooo smoothand after my surgery, I am a little more dry and still a littlenervous about hurting myself (a mental thing, i am sure you can relate).I would be happy to send you a free sample to try and see if thesilicone lube would be helpful to you. then you could tell if it isworth buying because they are a little pricer than water based butwell worth it. you can get them mostly anywhere, online, adult shops, possibly drug stores or i would be happy to get you one at my cost(40% off) just for being a member on this site if it saves you money.Just go where it is cheapest if you think it will help you :) Goodluck! > >> > You know, I don't know.
