Guest guest
Hi Mindy, I'm not sure that it matters too much. I split my dose in half and take one around lunch with food and the second after dinner...it's just easier on my digestive tract that way. I know others here take theirs all at once and some who break it into 3 doses throughout the day. My neph has mine down in his chart as a daily dose and he's never said to break it up, only to gradually increase the dose when I first started to take it as to keep the digestive problems under control and allow my body to get used to it slowly. Hope that helps and when it doubt give your neph a call, that's what you pay them for...put 'em to work. :-) Amy G. Fish Oil I forgot to ask, should the fish oil be taken all at once, throughout the day, ??? (Why does fish oil make me think of the SNL skit with the Bass-O- Matic???) Thanks in advance, Mindy P.S. Guest guest
Hi Mindy, I don't know if there is a definite " should " with this one, but most folks divide thier fish oil into two doses. Other dosing schemes are also possible. You might want to check the Donadio paper (the link is at www.igan.can) to see if that sheds any further light. JORDAN RUBEN the author of the Makers prescription for healing Diet ...well his wife refuses to travel without it. I take mine three times a day with meals. I just go to the health food section ...wellness section is what they call it here...and buy a bottle for twenty dollars! Everyone complements me on my skin saying "you dont have any wrinkles!" well I figure if it works outside, it works inside. hugs, ML the OMEGA 3, 6, 9 lover. Guest guest
Liz make sure you get Omegas 3, 6 and 9 fish oil. hugs, ML . I realized the last two times I had a flare were when I no longer was taking my fish oil. I then started to read all this info about the benefits of fish oil for inflammation, one article stating "helpful for anything ending in -itis". So! I went right back to my doc and got my fish oil, started back to taking 8 a day, and feel incredible now. Everything is healed, and I even have my period and the tampon barely hurts! Just thought I'd pass along.

Guest guest
: The one that seems to be the most popular in our wellness section is from HEALTH FROM THE SUN and it is call THE TOTAL EFA. The web addy is health from the sun.com and 1-. Suggested dosage is three capsules in the evening. It says with a meal or as suggested by your health care practioner. I have used other fish oils. I just like the total of the three in one capsule. AND the fact that Jordan Rubin's wife recommends them is what sold me on the three in one. She did not say what specific brand she used. I chose this one on my own because it sells off the self in the wellness department where I shop. love, ML On Behalf Of HalpinWhat kind of fish oil do you take?
