Guest guest
Hi . Welcome to the group. You've done a marvelous job. I had my surgery May 21st and have only lost 93 pounds, so you are ahead of me. Your body is just catching up to the weight loss. You will get past the 100 pound mark. It seeems like lots of people hit a plateau before they get into the century club. I think I am on one again, too. Don't get too frustrated. It will happen. I'm sure someone else answered your angel question by now, so I won't. Take care. Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the email list. I'm very to hear about your son's diagnosis. I showed up here shortly after my then 12 year old was diagnosed - and have been here ever since. Hopefully all of our kids will be the lucky ones whose disease remains slow to progress. There is a lot of very useful information at www.igan.ca that you may find helpful. Please feel free to jump in to discussions! I look forward to hearing from you. Cy Stacey wrote: Hello Everyone. Guest guest
Thanks. How old is your child now and how is he/she doing? What steps, if any, did you take after they were diagnosed? Thanks! > > > Hello Everyone. I am new here. My 12 yr. old son has just been > diagnoised with IGAN... Guest guest
Hi again Stacey Glad you found it helpful. We always direct new members there first, because not everyone comes to the group via the website. We have quite a number of parents who have a child with IgAN in the group, so I'm sure you will find it useful. Pierre New > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hello Everyone. I am new here. Guest guest
Hi Stacey, Welcome to the group. I'm sorry to hear that your son was recently diagnosed. My daughter, now 13, was diagnosed at 10. I didn't find this group until about 18 months after diagnosis. You can learn alot by just reading the posts on this site. I know I have. The people here are very knowledgeable if you have any questions or concerns. Take care, B., Elisabet's mom > > Hello Everyone. I am new here. Guest guest
Thanks for the warm welcome. I have plans after Thanksgiving to try and join a chapter not to far from McKinney, TX where I live. I have 100 lbs to lose and need to find out more about TOPS. I have two sons...both 13 (not twins..his and hers set). I'm a Realtor by trade until recently. Due to hubby's work lay offs, I have had to hang it up until better times. Want to know more about TOPS. Is it expensive? Do you make friends? I am very lonely....I am a prisoner to my home because of my weight. I've tried OA, but never "got it". Was hoping to meet some folks for the , TX meetings....hope I'm not bothering y'all.....not sure what group I join. Thank you, Jackie Yahoo! FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click. Guest guest
Oh my gosh Jackie2 (we have another Jackie)....are you in for a big surprise! This is the best group you could have joined! They are the most wonderful group of people you could meet. It is very, very nice to meet you. My name is , Jr. from Houston, Texas. I attend a TOPS chapter in Spring. I am so glad you joined us. TOPS is NOT expensive. It's 24.00 a year and maybe at the most 5.00 a month in dues. Do you make friends? Only TONS and TONS of friends! LOL! You already made about 100 here on this loop...trust me! I couldn't count the number of TOPS and KOPS pals I have met over the years. You are going to make some great friends here on this loop and in this organization. TOPS Club, Inc. is better than ever. You are joining at a perfect time in my opinion! YOU ARE NEVER BOTHERING US! Me and Randie (and you know you do) send out so many e-mails we will probably start bothering you! LOL! There is a contest going on so there is a lot of e-mail but it's so much fun and so worth it! Take care, have a great week, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING! KOPS LOVE, Re: New Thanks for the warm welcome.
