Guest guest
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE BEING #3 ON THE LIST AND KNOWING IT COULD BE THIS WEEKEND....WHAT RUNS THROUGH ONE MIND WAITING,,(,THAT MAYBE TO PERSONAL TO ANSWER UNDERSTAND) BECAUSE LOTS OF US ARE WAITING.. GOD SPEED AND WILL BE THINKING OF YOU.... JEANNEathan wrote: Just a quick update... I talked with at Vanderbilt today, and I'm now 3rd on the list over there. We were planning on going out of town over the weekend, but they said there was a small but real chance I could be offered a liver this weekend, so we're putting the trip on hold. I really wasn't sure I was feeling up to the trip anyway (nausea, itching and extreme fatigue) so maybe that's for the best even if I don't get a call!I'm trying not to let my hopes get up, I know it could be a long time yet before I actually get a tx. I'll keep y'all updated on it as any developments happen.athan
Guest guest
athan, That is great news about being so high on the list after waiting so long. Do you know what your meld is right now? I just checked my meld with updated numbers and it is 17. I'm not listed right now but the doc has been hinting in that direction for a while now. Not exciting for me at all but if a transplant will help me feel better and be able to serve my family better then I guess it is time. Have a blessed Easter weekend.
