Guest guest
My son's gallbladder went from normal to necrotic in a 2 month period of time. Hopefully there was a reason it needed to come out and once you heal you will feel a little better. had nausea and pain til the day he had his tx. Hope you feel better soon. For past few months have had continual discomfort and pretty much anything i eat i landed up vomiting. So had ercp and Dr said saw gall bladder was full of stones. They removed my gallbladder on wed, and after he took it out he said they were suprised when they open it and there were no stones. That was a very brief overview. I still have the discomfort and havnt been able to eat much. I just angry-should my gallbladder not have been taken out-was it the Drs error-does it happen often. And what is next to try and get rid of this discomfort:( Any form of advice would be so appreciated. Guest guest
Terri, I can't diagnose you from here of course, but for me the removal of my gallbladder helped. I did not have stones in my gallbladder but sludge. I can eat everything now. Guest guest
Terri, I'm sorry for the reason but it is good to hear from you. Unfortunately nausea can be an ongoing problem for some PSCers. If there is sludge in the liver as well as the GB, may I suggest pushing liquids for a while to see if it helps to move the bile? Are you on URSO? Also try going to a very non-allergy producing diet, like chicken and rice, avoiding milk and so on, for a week or more to see if it helps. Possibly there is a food allergy you have developed? I know this will be tough for a university student! Martha (MA) > Any form of advice would be so appreciated. > Love Terri(18)
