Guest guest
Hey Debra and How the words from your voice rings true. I fell in 97 through a pier 15 feet, busted shoulder , tore up rotator and all the tissues and joint associated with the scapula region, tore my left quad and buldge 4 cspine vertabrae. any way needless to say other will be no more scuba night dives or any other , lol and jaw's missed his chance. I recooped and after reconstruction of the left shoulder , PT and a regimend of contious pain meds, it took a bout of hip pain non connected mind u for s ome to ask about other problems. I got my fibro legitiment diagnosis 9 months ago. i got concerned however when i ask my ortho man about the use of flexiril and perc's and well as darvocetts for a period of time. His reply was if you are in pain you are less likely to get dependant and you can not heal if you are in pain. made sense. now i can not heal because i can not get much relief. and for the last 12 weeks its been a roller coster. tonight is misable for the spine and leg aches . the experts here are not the doctors we go to but ourselves it's just ashame that those who are trained to provide support and treatment sometimes do more harm by just not listening to the multitudes of us who have the most familar with this demon called Fibro. God's speed and a restful night ya'll Diane --- wrote: > Gee, Debra, instead of going upstairs when I walked > into the house > after going out to the back porch to get a Dr. > Pepper, I tripped and > fell, once again, flat on my face!
