I think this new hypothesis is great - even if it isn't proven helpful

in the long run. If they link PSC to heart disease, a very prevalent

disease that kills millions per year, then funding ought to be much

easier to come by since there's so much spent on heart disease every

year! I like that thought. I also like the thought of helping those

with heart disease since that's what kills everybody in my family -

that or strokes. In fact, my mother just suffered two strokes following

a carotid artery clean out...Now, they're talking about dilating her

artery like they do our ducts in PSC. I do see the similarities on the

surface of it all. It'll be interesting to see what the science bears

out.
