Guest guest
I just started receiving Remicade yesterday for Crohn's. Can anyone tell me how quick they saw results from this treatment? Thanks. Guest guest
I got my first treatment for Ulcerative Colitis in Sept on a Thursday and by Saturday I was NORMAL! I actually thought I was constipated (lol). It's worked awesome for me (steroids weren't working anymore). I had my most recent dose Dec 7th, but it will be my last for a while. We found out we are expecting a baby, and my GI doc wants to see how I do off of it while pregnant. I am hopeful it will be managable, as when I was pregnant w/our son my UC was a little better. I am due beginning of Feb for my next dose, so I know I have about 1 1/2 weeks left to be "normal". Best of luck, it's been a miracle for me. 30, UC 1/01, PSC 5/05, baby #2 due late Aug! Guest guest
That's what I was in hopes of hearing. With my Crohn's, I suffer as much with constipation as I do with diarrhea. I always have to be different. lol It's just that the diarrhea is what lands me in the Hospital. The steroids made a world of difference but I bloated up like a balloon and I just couldn't take it. Congratulations on the baby!! >>> " Wilkins " 1/30/2007 9:47 AM >>> I got my first treatment for Ulcerative Colitis in Sept on a Thursday and by Saturday I was NORMAL!
