Hi Cathy

I was diagnosed with UC/PSC in 1996 at age 11. Dickinson was my

pediatric doctor but now I am seeing Marrero and have been

pleased so far.

I also see Dr. Fontana. He seems to know everything about PSC and transplants and keeps very current. I also like his staff and it is easy to get information, and there is always someone who will return phone calls and answer quewtions. Dr. Fontana is not a dr. who "shoots the breeze" with you. He is very focused but has always answered every question I have asked.

There is an asian women doctor there who all I remember about her is that she use to yell at me "YOU MUST EAT" when I was in with a kidney infection and totally out of my senses. She would yell and I would get very stubborn and say to myself, (because I couldn't speak) "up yours sister!!! I'll show you I can still be in charge of myself" Obviously I was in the depths of HE. But I guess I knew I would get better as long as I could get that mad.

My husband saw Dr. Gordan(hepatologist) and *Dr*. *Abouljoud*.

(Transplant Surgeon) at Henry Ford Hospital. I was a live donor for

him. They are both excellant.

Thank you to everyone who resonded to my post about finding a new

doctor. I got a few names that look promising and appreciate the

advice.
