It was a pleasure to actually hug Kerry in person and meet her husband and children. She graciously opened up her home to me and that's where I stayed on Friday night. Her zest for life makes you forget that she's waiting for a double lung transplant. She has so much energy. She shared her life with me. I think that God puts people in your life for a reason and Kerry and the Dalton family were meant to meet. It's awesome that she was able to be there for their family during this time. I know it meant a lot to Joyce and will continue to mean a lot to Lucian. This disease sucks. But, I am so grateful for the people that I have met along this journey.
