The first NP I saw was at a low-income birth control clinic. Imagine

with my fancy schmancy insurance and being a patient of one of the

best teaching hospital medical groups, I ended up getting better care

at the Feminist Women's Health Clinic. From there, the NP suggested

I find an NP/nurse midwife that treats women's health issues also.

So, I looked up local midwives and found a practice nearby. She is

the one who rx'd weekly diflucan.

I DO believe the vestibulitis was caused by recurrent yeast AND the

muscle tightness that followed from being in constant pain, as was

some of my ongoing burning, and so to just treat yeast or just do pt

wouldn't have done the trick-I needed both.
