Guest guest
Hi all - This came to me today from the NVA and I thought some of you might be interested (I apologize if this is old news, I haven't been keeping up with this list for a while): Dear NVA Community, This fall has been a ground-breaking time for vulvodynia publicity! Not only was the condition covered in Prevention, Redbook, and on ABC's new hit show, Private Practice, but we've now learned that one of our long-time dedicated volunteers, Dr. Debby Herbenick, Associate Director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University, will be on The Tyra Banks Show this Monday, November 5th. On the show, What's Up Down There?, Tyra and Debby will discuss "everything vulva and vagina" including vulvovaginal anatomy, vulvar self-examination, vulvodynia and other conditions that affect genital health. Last but definitely not least, the National Institutes of Health launched the first-ever national vulvodynia awareness campaign at the National Press Club in Washington, DC on Wednesday, October 24th (more information to follow)!
