Guest guest
hello again i have an RT3 ratio of 8.7 from blood tests in january and confirmed by val. salivary cortisol has always been low for 10 years. tried a trial of HC and didn't get past the first day as it worsened my symptoms. a subsequent blood test showed i had high cortisol and i shouldn't have taken HC. the whole experience frightened me and gave up thinking about it for a few months. recent thyroid tests showed T3 below the range and TSH of 10 and i was feeling depressed. a doctor gave me beta blockers for the anxiety i was feeling and again i felt worse and didn't get past the first day. the question is if i do have normal to high blood cortisol is it ok to go T3 only, my private GP is coming round to the idea after 7 years of taking T3 and only gaining some relief from the mental symptoms. many thanks jonny
