I convinced one of them to do it ONCE and they were fine, FT3 one point above the high end of normal and FT4 mid-range and they ruled out conversion problems so that was all I got, and that was last year about 2 mos after starting synthroid/diagnosis. . _LIDA! L_,_._,___ LISA: Sorry to hear about the military docs. THAT sounds very frustrating. I should think your gonna want to get tested again soon...just to see what is going on. If you feel good...you want to know what the bloods look like so you have a reference point to go back to...if by chance some issue crops up like sub-potent meds or med clashes. If you don't feel perfect...you should want to see how they look so you can tweak one of the frees a little to see how you feel..so you can guage which way to go...so to speak. Maybe I'll see if she'll check the free's this time, I haven't tried with this doc to get her to check those. I could even use that argument that we checked last year and I just wanna see where it is now after a year on meds and now that I feel better. . YEAH... That is one of my favorite arguments..... ~E:) TOTAL-Thyroidectomy 26 months post-op. Cheap Talk? Check out Yahoo! Messenger's low PC-to-Phone call rates.
