Guest guest
Hi, My testosterone level was below what Dr.Vleit said it should be too. I had tried P before and it was AWFUL for me. It made my vulvar area BURN! I begged my family doc to prescribe me some bioidentical testosterone and it helped me. I lost weight, felt more energetic, less depressed. It seems docs are afraid to prescribe T for women. Some of us NEED IT. I do not need progesterone or estrogen. I need T..maybe that is what you need too! I had loss of libido, low energy, felt down a lot was gaining weight in my legs, thighs and stomach. I was tested at 2 docs and a natural saliva test. All 3 said low side of testosterone and DHEA. The regular docs were not going to prescribe it until I told them how desparate I had been with the VV. So that is how I got it. I am now going to make an appointment with a doc in the town I live in that participated in a study that correlated low androgens to VV. I believe that is what is wrong with me, low testosterone and DHEA. I am not on the testosterone now, I ran out and didn't get it renewed and guess what, tired again, no libido and becoming FAT! If I would have listened to the docs I have gone too instead of going with Dr. Vliets advice and charts, and begging for the creams, I would still be in teh same boat. I am going to ask this new doc for another prescription of T. I have a combo E and T now but I think it has too much E in it for me. I also get an alcohol free cream from Women's International Pharmacy. They ship the prescriptions to you after your doctor calls them. They also have a web site where they recommend docs that believe and prescribe bio-identicals. susanSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
