What would be considered a good amount of zinc to take daily. I have

had red blood cell tests for zinc,zinc-copper ratio, selenium,

potassium and magnesium, and despite taking good supplements all are

below the lowest of the range. On the other hand I have high calcium

at the outer membrane of the mitochondria which I know is bad news.

The only mineral that was ok was manganese.

I have been taking good quality supplements for years at good doses, ie

zinc around 40 -50 mg daily but they just don't seem to get into the

cells.

J. usually knows better than I, but I'm pretty sure Andy no

longer recommends lowering zinc when you start ALA. That was just

something he did to be conservative before he had as much experience

as he does now.
