Guest guest
I agree with everyone and use exclusively fentenol during an ERCP. I also experienced waking up during the procedure and not being able to react at all. This was probably the worst panic moment I have ever had and would never want to go through that again. The good news is the more ERCP's you have the more they get the dosage down. Number 4 is on the way in August. I just wish they would put me out before they tape that holder dealy in my mouth and spray your throat with that nasty #@^*!! I didn't believe everyone when they said it gets better, but it does. in Minnesota PSC 2006, Factor V Leiden 2003 ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____Ready for the edge of your seat? At first I hated the thought of having the ERCP, but after maybe 12 or so I got quite comfortable with them. I was always given a general a general anesthesia, and that took off a lot of the edge. I was a bit nervous sometimes, and told the nurses to see about putting me out as soon as I got into the room. Worked good since I do not remember much, except wakening up.... My theory is put me out and do what you have to.....I need the rest. Bill Booth sunny Sundridge, ON Canada transplant Sept
