Guest guest
1400 mcg or molybdenum and 3000 mcg of chromium + bile supplements (lecithin, coffee), and I still can't cure the copper toxicity. Chelated chromium is effective in lowering copper for those who haven't tried it (stay away from chromium picolinate), it also get rid of a lot of immaflamation problems associated with copper (atleast in my experience and according to my sources on chromium). The funny thing with the molybdenum is that the more I take the worse I feel. I feel even more and more diconnected from reality the more molybdenum I take. I'm not directly blaming the molybdenum for this, I'm blaming how the molybdenum effects the copper for this. The chromium is the total opposite, even though it mobilizes copper it seems to make me feel a lot better. Well I know the limit for molybdenum is 3000 mcg so I'm just going to keep going higher and hope it improves. Do you think these really high doses of minerals are safe? Any suggestions? Guest guest
Where's the zinc? Your missing another mineral essential to lowering copper. I would not take more than 1000mcg of chromium a day in divided doses with meals. I have not read that chromium does much for copper problems. It is essential for dealing with the hypoglycemic issues that mercury creates. Take less molybdenum. Or stop it temporarily. My kids only needed it for about a year, at which time it made them worse. My daughter had some very adverse emotional side effects taking molybdenum even at 100mcg a day. She is 120 pounds. It helps me but I only take a couple hunderd mcg a day. I also take 100mg of zinc a day, and chromium with each meal. High dose minerals are safe if used appropriately in conjuction with other opposing minerals so as not to create more deficiencies. Are you avoiding high copper foods? The one true way to deal with a copper issue is to work on chelation to get the mercury out. It can be impossible to correct a mineral or metal problem otherwise. Copper problems can be worse with estrogen dominance. Don't dismiss this even if your a man, men get estrogen dominance from the xenoestrogens in the food and plastics. Progesterone cream, adrenal and thyroid balance..etc. also help with copper. (check out Dr.Lee's book, he addresses this in regards to men and women) I would only take what is actually helping you. If that much chromium helps..then fine. If the moly is making you feel weird or sick..don't use it. Add zinc, check into liver support like milk thistle to make sure you body can actually get rid of the copper, check into hormone imbalances..and do chelation with dmsa or dmps to lower copper. Avoid high copper foods like chocolate, and nuts etc. > > 1400 mcg or molybdenum and 3000 mcg of chromium + bile supplements > (lecithin, coffee), and I still can't cure the copper toxicity. > Chelated chromium is effective in lowering copper for those who > haven't tried it (stay away from chromium picolinate), it also get rid > of a lot of immaflamation problems associated with copper (atleast in > my experience and according to my sources on chromium). > > The funny thing with the molybdenum is that the more I take the worse >>
