Guest guest
Does anyone know why the magnesium / calcium balance determines blood sugar problems? I have low hair magnesium and deranged mineral transport, which Andy suggests will mean low body magnesium. I also have elevated hair calcium, and my Ca/Mg ratio is 46 - Andy suggests that anything over 30 implies blood sugar problems. I do have massive blood sugar problems, and assuming that I have too much calcium in my system, and not enough magnesium, am supplementing with magnesium glycinate (600mg a da), 1000mg of taurine and 300mg of Vitamin B6. Not noticing any improvements so far though... My question is why the Ca/Mg balance is so crucial to blood sugar balance, and how I can improve it. I am also taking manganese for blood sugar, but things sure move slowly, if they move at all, and Vitamin K, to help regulate the high level of calcium in my body. Any other suggestions? Many thanks Nicola
