Guest guest
he kept the website hoping I could come out of this illness to go back to it he is a hoot - he has always been there - I think it was sometime in the early 90's he misplaced me - he worked for A T & T he was vp of corporate accounts on the east coast - he got a business trip west of the Mississippi and his wife told him if he didn't get a hold of me he was sleeping on the couch I went to OKC on the day before he got in for his meeting - the traffic was a bear and we went from 4 + lanes to two - my friend threw on the brakes and threw his right arm across me - it happened so fast I was speechless - I am mentally checking me and checking to see if I peed - and he was hollering at me - I finally got out - yes - G D it Evan told me later he was on the main drag of his hotel that night taking pictures of street rods up for the convention - we passed the southern and south west contingents going up he came down the next day - I gave him detailed directions - he even stopped at the Macs at Chickasha for ice cream we took off and got a to go hamburger and soda on our way to the mountains - my first husband and I met him in February 1967 out at the craft shop on post - he was into photography - I had gone from ceramics to lapidary to photography - when some of the Officer Candidate trainees - 90 day wonder officers - tried to give me a hard time - like they could - I was a Sgt Majors daughter - Evan was there - later that year I had to give up the darkroom - the chemicals and being pregnant did not work too well - so I started signing out equipement and explaining to real a - holes that no you can not develope color film with B & W chemicals - yes there is a difference - in between I still worked on my ceramics - Evan didn't want me to life a mold full of slip - again he was right there He is Jewish and they didn't have a resident rabbi - so Thursday night he would give me a phone number to call him the next day (which I did) I would pick him up and we would shop for food usually meat sause for spaghetti for 10 - 20 people - I would drop him off at the Jewish center and go home - I lost his spaghetti sauce recipe - it is to die for the month before he was getting out - Gail came down - she stayed for a month - they have been married over 40 years last fall I had told him I was attempting to help by answering questions for the new MASH - Little House on the Prairie - a family of man drama - it will make you cry - it will make you laugh - it will make you think - usually what happens is I forward the questions to Patti - an Air Force brat - - an Army wife - - and army brat, active duty, and army wife - then send it back to Theresa Like MASH it will break new ground - Nurses started coming forward with PTSD in lest than the last 19 years - banks are taking active duty and veterans mortage payments - then denying they got it - many of the homeless are military vets - there are many reasons it happened - they are called "ghosts" - how do you deal with it a lot of other storylines - it will deal with Vietnam through Iraq and Afghanistan I was doing errands last month and 6 Jeep Cherokees either stopped at a light or passed me aha - OHB will have Jeep Cherokees - you can haul people or stuff and with 4 wheel drive you can go where you need too last week I went to Sav A Lot - one of the staff is Native American - I really feel like a munchkin around him - he has a quirky sense of humor - he bursts out into song - he will talk to anybody - he drives a Nissan Crossfire - two seat convertible that goes fast - he made a joke when I said a friend said to look out for sexy cars - he said what about a sexy man to drive it - I smiled and said it is for a sexy lady who likes to go fast - he grinned and said I never go over 45 miles per hour - it makes sense for a prosecutor who is not involved or has kids and likes to go fast then when I was meditating last fall I kept seeing an older model pick up with a no tell motel on the back (camper) - just like many I see in town - vets tend to pick car models and years that have meaning for them - fit with the character as she discribed to them it will be 2 years in May since she started to write it - it has evolved and been added too for someone that felt guilty for years about being in for 3 years and staying stateside during Viet Nam - last fall he sent me some veteran stories and told me he has been a member of Jewish American Veterans some of the things he sent I have not seen and I run around with active duty and vets for 25 years he always surprizes meGod, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there. Guest guest
he kept the website hoping I could come out of this illness to go back to it he is a hoot - he has always been there - I think it was sometime in the early 90's he misplaced me - he worked for A T & T he was vp of corporate accounts on the east coast - he got a business trip west of the Mississippi and his wife told him if he didn't get a hold of me he was sleeping on the couch I went to OKC on the day before he got in for his meeting - the traffic was a bear and we went from 4 + lanes to two - my friend threw on the brakes and threw his right arm across me - it happened so fast I was speechless - I am mentally checking me and checking to see if I peed - and he was hollering at me - I finally got out - yes - G D it Evan told me later he was on the main drag of his hotel that night taking pictures of street rods up for the convention - we passed the southern and south west contingents going up he came down the next day - I gave him detailed directions - he even stopped at the Macs at Chickasha for ice cream we took off and got a to go hamburger and soda on our way to the mountains - my first husband and I met him in February 1967 out at the craft shop on post - he was into photography - I had gone from ceramics to lapidary to photography - when some of the Officer Candidate trainees - 90 day wonder officers - tried to give me a hard time - like they could - I was a Sgt Majors daughter - Evan was there - later that year I had to give up the darkroom - the chemicals and being pregnant did not work too well - so I started signing out equipement and explaining to real a - holes that no you can not develope color film with B & W chemicals - yes there is a difference - in between I still worked on my ceramics - Evan didn't want me to life a mold full of slip - again he was right there He is Jewish and they didn't have a resident rabbi - so Thursday night he would give me a phone number to call him the next day (which I did) I would pick him up and we would shop for food usually meat sause for spaghetti for 10 - 20 people - I would drop him off at the Jewish center and go home - I lost his spaghetti sauce recipe - it is to die for the month before he was getting out - Gail came down - she stayed for a month - they have been married over 40 years last fall I had told him I was attempting to help by answering questions for the new MASH - Little House on the Prairie - a family of man drama - it will make you cry - it will make you laugh - it will make you think - usually what happens is I forward the questions to Patti - an Air Force brat - - an Army wife - - and army brat, active duty, and army wife - then send it back to Theresa Like MASH it will break new ground - Nurses started coming forward with PTSD in lest than the last 19 years - banks are taking active duty and veterans mortage payments - then denying they got it - many of the homeless are military vets - there are many reasons it happened - they are called "ghosts" - how do you deal with it a lot of other storylines - it will deal with Vietnam through Iraq and Afghanistan I was doing errands last month and 6 Jeep Cherokees either stopped at a light or passed me aha - OHB will have Jeep Cherokees - you can haul people or stuff and with 4 wheel drive you can go where you need too last week I went to Sav A Lot - one of the staff is Native American - I really feel like a munchkin around him - he has a quirky sense of humor - he bursts out into song - he will talk to anybody - he drives a Nissan Crossfire - two seat convertible that goes fast - he made a joke when I said a friend said to look out for sexy cars - he said what about a sexy man to drive it - I smiled and said it is for a sexy lady who likes to go fast - he grinned and said I never go over 45 miles per hour - it makes sense for a prosecutor who is not involved or has kids and likes to go fast then when I was meditating last fall I kept seeing an older model pick up with a no tell motel on the back (camper) - just like many I see in town - vets tend to pick car models and years that have meaning for them - fit with the character as she discribed to them it will be 2 years in May since she started to write it - it has evolved and been added too for someone that felt guilty for years about being in for 3 years and staying stateside during Viet Nam - last fall he sent me some veteran stories and told me he has been a member of Jewish American Veterans some of the things he sent I have not seen and I run around with active duty and vets for 25 years he always surprizes meGod, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there. Thanks for sharing that uplifting news!love,Kate To: MSersLife Sent: Sun, February 27, 2011 7:44:25 AMSubject: Re: now my sister... keep trying until they give you answers and options - my big brother in NJ was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the late 90's - I asked him if he had been to Sloan Kettering and what was the second opinion his surgery was postponed twice - my reiki friends were working on it and my Christian friends he emailed me on December 11th - the day after my grandson's birthday - I got 3 emails actually - for my quiet, sober brother he was over the moon - the surgery was successful - I had told him I would haunt him if he didn't stay here - he got quiet and said - you would too. I still get to tease him about being a grandpa - not that he is besotted or anything God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there. To: MSersLife Sent: Sat, February 26, 2011 1:43:18 PMSubject: now my sister... My older sister, Pat, she'll be 58 in March, called the other day. Apparently, she had gone to the bathroom and it looked like, as she put it, someone poured a bottle of coke in the toilet. To make a long story short, they got some labs back, and it sounds like they suspect possible malignant bladder tumor. PLEASE keep her in your prayers along with my dad.
