Guest guest
Joyce, It's so great to hear things like this!! I'm so glad you had a good time and that the tubing was actually put to a fun use! It reminded me of when my nieces play jump rope with my tubing here in the house. I turn one end, (of course since I'm attached to it) and my sister or mother turns the other end and my nieces jump. I like to think that the people at your party will walk away from that with a somewhat different impression of what it means to be on supplementary O2. We're people who like to have fun just like anyone else and it shows them that we can even have a sense of humor about the equipment itself! Guest guest
Joyce I always love reading such posts. I don't dance with mine because I couldn't dance before. But glad you did. I'm sure lots of people were impressed too to see you adapting and still enjoying the event. Besides the slow dances are the best ones anyway. > > Last night Jerry and I went to a holiday party at a catering hall. > had a great time > got up to dance with my marathon > when Jerry came to the dance floor, i gave it to him to hold while i danced > > one of the ladies looked at the 7 foot hose (tube) and thought " Limbo " > so she did the limbo under the hose and then a lot of other people followed her > it was a lot of fun > > details--turned marathon up to C4, when i sat down, my O2 SAT was 90% and Heart Rate was 135 > but it was fun > > after a rest, got up again to dance > > by the way, at this time i am on 40 mgs prednisone > just got Blue Cross approval for Cellcept > doc wants to start me on Cellcept and then wean the prednisone down to 10 mgs by 5 mgs per week > > eager to see how this works > i know there is someone on the board who uses Cellcept and is having good results > > Pink Joyce IPF 3/06 Pennsylvania >
