Guest guest
We do " big shopping " every 2 weeks, and just pick up things like fresh veg or milk in between. I try - especially this time of year - to rotate beans-pasta-potatoes-grains so we don't get bored or bad tummies... I like seeing all my pretty jars full of stuff, though. There was a time long long back, when I was married to The Pervert, when there were days I had to beg on the street for something to feed my baby. Himself has never ever let us go hungry, but that kind of thing sort of sticks in the back of your mind... Guest guest
It does, just like the turkey leg stuck in mine. It was literally ALL there was in the house to eat, and it was months old (I had made the mistake of cooking a 14-lb bird just for ME and it took FOREVER to eat it, and that was the LAST thing left, and the ONLY thing to eat) So I kinda did a Scarlett O'hara..."I swear I will NEVAH have this little to eat again!!!" Guest guest
Most vegan fare is lower-calorie, too, another plus! There are a bazillion recipes on the net, so you don't even have to spend money on a cookbook to try some stuff out. Tonight we have a beautiful navy bean soup - carrots, celery, onion, beans, salt, pepper, water. You could prolly do it with canned beans and make it even easier... in WY Practical Blackwork Designs http://practicalblackwork.com http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com  " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return...
