American Idol Finalist Brett Lowenstern to perform at walk to help benefit children with special needs

This Sunday, April 22nd, Brett Lowenstern, a finalist of American Idol Season 10 will perform at IWalk4Friendship a 3k walk in South Florida to help raise awareness and support for children with special needs. IWalk4Friendship, which is hosted by the Friendship Circle of North Broward & South Palm Beach, will be followed by a family fun day with free food, free rides and live entertainment.

The Friendship Circle is a non profit organization that helps children with special needs and their families through a variety of social and recreational programs and has a unique approach of pairing local teenage volunteers together with the children. The 3rd annual walk will take place at Pine Trails Park & Amphitheatre, 10555 Trails End, Parkland, FL 33067.

Registration, which is free, opens at 9:00am, with the opening ceremony and walk beginning at 10:00am. Following that will be a variety of free family-friendly entertainment such as Bounce Houses, Rides, Mobile Video Games, rock wall climbing and the Airk9s Dog Show. Food and drink will also be available at no charge.
