Amino acids: plasma versus 24h urine

I have had the following test:

Amino Acids in 24h urine.

There are some disturbances, but not typical ones which are in Andy's

book (like low or high cystine).

Andy always writes about plasma amino acids (instead of amino acids in

24h urine).

Does anybody know if there is any diagnostic value in 24h urine amino

acids? Does it has any value to diagnose heavy metal toxicity?

Is there a strong correlation between plasma amino acids and amino

acids in 24h urine???
