Guest guest
Larry, so awesome to see you posting so soon after a surgery that went so well. Jim & I were praying for you, right after our instant message! Woo-hoo for things like clean CT scans, for being able to sleep while hospitalized (any sleep is better than none!), for milestones like catheter & bandage removal (yay!), but I think I’ll bypass any whoop-dee-do comments on hospital food & say three cheers for later on this week (given that you seem to be recovering so quickly!), when you’ll be getting great-tasting nutrition food from home-sweet-home! We’re keeping up our prayers for you, btw, about the pending pathology results on your colon. As for your comment about asking God to continue to pour on blessings, we’re doing that alongside you, too… my goodness, one look at that handsome apple of your eye little grandson confirms God’s been blessing you, big-time! He’s absolutely darling! Make sure & any other Florence Nightengales) gets good rest along the way, as she/they continue to help you back to a full recovery… but it sounds like you’re already doing a great job of recovering yourself! Maureen ( & Jim) Jim – UC ’84, PSC ’96, LRLTx ’01, in a learning curve for a possible J-pouch in his future (so we’ll be watching your progress like crazy, Larry)
