Guest guest
Hi, If you are moving out east (Ft. Lauderdale, Hallandale, Aventura), the schools closer to the beach are usually better. If you are out West (Davie, City, Plantation, Weston), there are a lot of good community schools. You’ll want to make sure his IEP will transfer over and he can still get the classroom supports. Good luck! We have 2 elementary school aged boys, the oldest of which has autism. Jaxon is almost 9 years old, high functioning, and currently attends a regular class with supports. Wondering what neighborhoods/schools in the area have shown to be positive environments for kids on the spectrum? We want to take schools into consideration first before finding a place to live.
