Guest guest
Nicola: " I think I will do a summer of chelation with DMSA and ALA, to see what improvement it brings. His speech is my main concern, and his adrenals obviously. He is set up for a life of chronic fatigue. " This sounds like my daughter. Her hair test also suggested thyroid problems. She didn't meet any counting rules, but had an " all low " presentation. I am wondering if you plan on chelating without testing the adrenals/thyroid? That is my concern for my daughter. I am worried about stressing her adrenals/thyroid. She doesn't have insurance right now, but I can get them tested on my own. I am just not sure what I would do to support them, depending on how bad they are. Thanks, Olif

However, we found that dosing C (100mg), pantothenic acid (25 mgs), B6 and B2 (2 mgs) every 3 hours (even at nigh if they awaken) to be the thing that helped her adrenals the most. Giving this with a source of calcium i.e. milk or yogurt makes it work better. This is a pain in the neck to do, as bad as chelation but it has helped her adrenals the most. This method was responsible for moving her hair test away from the adrenal markers. You can mix with chelators on " on " round days. Beware that if a person is low in pantothenic acid it can take about 6 weeks of supplementation to make a difference. There are supplements called " Stress Tabs " that have all these ingredients in one capsule for convenience. Best wishes, Thanks, Olif
