Guest guest
I am new and have some questions, I hope someone can answer. 1- Where does one buy DMSA in tablets, to spit into 12.5, please add link if possible. I have found only caps , i know they can be split, but I plan to bring with me and it would be easier with tablets. 2- Please explain the diff between DMPS and DMSA as far as available, price and side effects. 3- If trying to remove metals from the brain, why start with DMSA and not ALA, why do few rounds with DMSA and then add the ALA? 3- Can one chelate if one has possible nickel in the mouth?, 2 crowns which I have my doubts are gold. 4-Do I understand correctly and ALA also removes arsenic? To all newbies out there please read the chelation progress postings in the file section, very inspiring and helpful. Also thank you group and A big thanks to Andy (in case he reads this). I am so grateful for finding this group.

I suspect that they supply capsules. > 2- Please explain the diff between DMPS and DMSA as far as available, > price and side effects. > For me the side effects were exactly the same (the side effects are actually from the moving metals not from the medication). Others report different side effects for each. DMPS is available by prescription only. DMSA can be purchased OTC. DMPS is much more expensive than DMSA (check prices with suppliers pharmacies, prices can vary). DMSA is good for chelating mercury and lead. DMPS is good for mercury and arsenic. DMSA is dosed at intervals of every 4 h or less. DMPS intervals of every 8 h or less. This is a big advantage for people who have difficulty waking at night when they first start chelating. > 3- If trying to remove metals from the brain, why start with DMSA and > not ALA, why do few rounds with DMSA and then add the ALA? > In the first 3 months after amalgam removal or exposure to mercury DMSA is used to lower the body burden. ALA is not used during those months to prevent net movement of metals into the brain. Many people find the side effects of ALA chelation difficult to cope with and that DMSA or DMPS helps to lessen those side effects and make chelation more comfortable. By starting with DMSA or DMPS a person can get a feel for what chelation is like with those chelators and find the appropriate dose for them before introducing ALA. > 3- Can one chelate if one has possible nickel in the mouth? I believe so. Check the archives to be sure. , 2 crowns > which I have my doubts are gold. > The crowns would have to be removed to be sure that there is no amalgam underneath. Many people have been told there is no amalgam under their crowns but when they had trouble with chelation and had the dentist look - sure enough there was amalgam there. Gold is ok - check the archives. To check archives go to www.onibasu.com Search autism mercury using kewords andrewhallcutler gold crown Or search the archives here using the search box (onibasu isn't connected to our archives) > 4-Do I understand correctly and ALA also removes arsenic? > Yes. > To all newbies out there please read the chelation progress postings in > the file section, very inspiring and helpful. > Also thank you group and A big thanks to Andy (in case he reads > this). You can split DMSA caps into empty gel caps. You can get 25 mg caps from www.vrp.com. > 2- Please explain the diff between DMPS and DMSA as far as available, > price and side effects. DMSA easily available from online sources and relatively inexpensive. DMPS requires prescription and is expensive. Side effects will vary from person to person and over time. Whatever symptoms the metals are causing for you can be stirred up by taking chelators. Keeping dose low minimizes side effects. > 3- If trying to remove metals from the brain, why start with DMSA and > not ALA, why do few rounds with DMSA and then add the ALA? You need to wait 3 months after exposure (such as amalgam removal) before adding ALA. During this time you reduce body burden with DMSA or DMPS. > 3- Can one chelate if one has possible nickel in the mouth?, 2 crowns > which I have my doubts are gold. The biggest concern is whether you could have amalgam remaining under crowns. Good idea to check under crowns before chelating. > 4-Do I understand correctly and ALA also removes arsenic?
