Guest guest
Holy Cow, you're from Chicago??? You lucky girl. Look up Rhonda Kotarinos and book an appointment asap. You're in good hands and you will very very likely get well. Also I suggest joining the yahoogroup happypelvis as there are many on there who go to Rhonda. You will learn what to expect. Rhonda sees many many out of town patients and some even move there to be near her. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/happypelvis/ Hi...I'm new Hi all,I just wanted to say hi. I am new to the group. I suffer from VVS with most all of my pain being sex related (not a good thing when I'm married). I've have symptoms as far back as my first tampon. I was just diagonosed 6 months ago, but haven't/don' t have insurance to try much. This illness has depressed me for the last 7 years when my first time with sex...the day after my wedding, I felt unbelievable pain. I was petrified to be near my husband as he wanted sex all of the time and I felt like I was being raped. I didn't even tell him how much it hurt for the first 3 months until I just couldn't let him near me anymore. We've managed to get through...and even had a wonderful daughter a year ago, but it is still so hard. We had hoped and prayed that the birth of our daughter would "open me up", but alas it didn't help...just more pain from tearing. On top of everything, b/c of the pain (I believe), I have had no desire for sex. My desire went away about 3-6 mths before we got married as I knew that I was going to have to have sex and didn't know how I would get something so big into me without pain. I was right about the pain.Okay, I should go now that I've talked your ear off. Oh, BTW, how long do you generally have to go to PT? Does anyone know a good PT in the Chicago south suburbs? I don't know if I can afford it, but I'd like to see. The lidocaine has started to now really work and is burning. I need cheap solutions. Thanks, Don't let your dream ride pass you by. Guest guest
Thanks. It is great to hear that people are getting past this...even if it does take time and a lot of work. I hope that I can find something soon. I think that I will look into PT when I get health ins again. > > , > You are not alone!
