Guest guest
Sure I would be happy to share some of the information I received from this particular homeopathic doctor who told me she has helped alot of women with pudendal neuropathies. Originally when I saw her, she prescribed Magnesium Glycinate, Advanced Adult probiotics (which I read is good for inflammation), Bioglycozyme, Catalyn, (I use a teaspoon of Magnesium oil -externally a day) Spasupreel (this is a homeopathic muscle relaxer, only used a few times when I had a flare). In addition, I eat tbls of virgin coconut oil a day. My second visit, I was doing so much better, but I continued to have the burning urination which seems to have stayed with me, I mentioned this to her and she did a urinalysis (my urine is very acidic) so she advised my takiing cranberry complex she also told me on the second visit that she saw leukocytes in my urine which indicated a urinary tract infection and prescribed albaplex which I am to take for 10 days and get retested, then she changed my probiotic to acidophilus bifidus. For constipation (which actually could have been the initial cause of the pn), I am rotating cod liver oil with mixed efa's (omega 6 and 3) . Before going to her, I was taking lorazepam when I had a flare(which really helped the nerve pain, but the pain would always come back the next day). The highest dose of elavil I was on was 30 mg, 40 for about two days, and am now tapering off and at 20. I want to see if its the elavil or the homeopathic regime, I am following. I just came from my neurologist today and he asked me which homeopath. doc I was seeing and I told him and he said he works alot with other ones, so he told me to just keep doing what I am doing and try to go to 10mgs of elavil for a week, then off. So I guess time will tell, but my gut tells me that its the various alternative treatments I am using. (alot of B and magnesium) If anyone wants to know the brands of these products or doses, whatever just email me:) C Check out AOL Money Finance's list of the hottest products and top money wasters of 2007.
