Guest guest Posted February 6, 2008 Report Share Posted February 6, 2008 Val since I got off of the linisopril and on diltiazem my BP has reallyl gone up....of course there were about 3 days I took nothing before starting diltiazaem. However my questiion is why when the systolic goes down why does the diastolic go up. Here are my readings this morning. The first one I had been up then sat down to take BP, the second was sitting about 8 minutes afterward first one.... 172/76 P64 157/87 P58 For awhile my systolic was in the 180's but that has come down. Don't know if from meds or if the RT3 is better....have labs tomorrow...so should know RT3 results in about 2 weeks, takes longer than just straight thyroid panel....
