Guest guest
Need some advice. Have been on t3 only nearly 15 weeks. The first 11 weeks I was on a compunded t3 that I thought was not working so I switched to Cytomel and most recently to Cynomel. I began Cytomel three weeks ago. Temps and pulse have been ok/not optimal but close, still increasing. I am up to 112.50 mcg.(all cynomel now) Temps have been close to optimal until today. I am cold and constipated-97.5. Sounds hypo but why? Haven't had this in awhile and I am at a pretty high dose. I know I am kinda starting my 12 weeks over because the switch in meds. I went over "my records" to see when my pulse starting coming up. I am using that(higher pulse) as the "restart" of my 12 weeks. I figure I am about 6-7 weeks into t3. So is it possible the drop in temps is due to the final decay of t4 and I'm just not enough t3? It really came out of the blue today and I don't know what to think. Should I try another raise? I just raised two days ago. I have had low ferritin for at least 4 years. I believe that is the cause of my rT3. My ratio was bad-6. Ferritin was up last time I checked. Checking again next week. Firgure with the high ratio and lenght of time undiagnoised I might be one of those people who gets up pretty high on t3. Thanks for the help,S
Guest guest
A temp drop at this stage would usually mean adrneal stress. I would hold this dose longer and see if it recovers in a week or so, if not and you feel no anxiety sympomts, then a raise would be in order. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
