Thanks for any comments. > I am taking Glycine right now as part of the amino acids intake. I just had amalgams removed but have not started chelating. Does this mean I should stop taking Glycine if it is like ALA?

Thanks for any comments. > Glycine isn't going to take any metals out of the brain. Glycine is a simple amino acid H2NCH2COOH. You could post the source of your information if you find it. Sorry, no source (just talking with a friend) or chemical knowledge of glycine. I read Andy's info on p.155 about it being a part of boosting glutathione. Does glycine have a role in chelation, and is it often supplemented during chelation? How is a healthy glutathione level helpful for chelation? Thanks, anyone, for helping me better understand. Glycine helps with bile flow, among other things, and can be real helpful for some people. But chelation will work fine without it. Most of us don't have enough glutathione, but it is not necessary for chelation, either. A lot of NDs and other docs get obsessed about these things. They don't understand. Chelation is what will fix your body so it can start working normally again. Just focus on the chelation. --
