TomDo you miss working? It seems like running a restaurant would be extremely hard work. I miss working but I am so thankful to be able to take life at my own pace as MS dictates. My wife still works so I do the groc shopping and the cooking. I love to cook, we owned two restaurant-deli's up in Cape Cod for 25 years. I thankfully still drive with hand controls and a ramp van. I also read a lot and coach a lot of folks with ms, especially newly diagnosed. It is a difficulty at times to stay busy. I refuse to turn the TV on until 6;00PM.

I'm wondering what everyone here does to keep busy. I guess I'm mainly talking about those of us who no longer work but it could apply to everyone as well.Do you fill your day with TV, computer, reading, gardening, games or???

Hi Sharon,

Yes, I miss my deli....I loved it...Hard work and sice MS a lot of the burden fell to my wife. That is the only reason we sold it. She now works full time as an Activities Assistant with Alzheimer patients. She is very devoted and does recreational amusements for them...She really cares....I do spend a lot of time alone but I'm OK.
