so right now I don't have high or low cortisol and I'm not following any extreme

diet and I'm sneaking up on 50, so aging doesn't appear to apply.

IN MY EXPERIENCE>>>>>>

When I felt my absolute WORST, my Rt3 was 256 and T3 was 311....can't find the

labs, and I don't remember the units. Guess what, when I felt my WORST, I found

out three months later that I had a MOLD FARM growing in my HVAC--so much so

that I was breathing 20,000 spores (and 300 times as much mold products and

fragments). I have replaced the HVAC, and my Rt3 was down to 111, and my T3 was

high, of course, with generic cytomel (currently at 150mcg/day split into 100

morning, 50 bedtime.).

I did supp. with HC, but am not right now. With mold issues, I am ambivalent

about it, but did feel somewhat better when i was on it.

If you have exhausted your search, as I had, a friend who had been very sick

from mold in her house told me about it.

Details are under google: Ritchie Shoemaker, biotoxins. Dr. Schaller has

a lot on his website, too. Yahoo has some groups, too, with some very

knowledgeable professionals on them.

I later found some research linking cytokines (which go wacky in mold illness)

to lowering the TSH -- possibly making it LOOK normal, when it might otherwise

be higher.

My mother and grandmother both took thyroid meds, but both lived in the basement

that I grew up in that was always flooding.............chicken or egg, I am NOT

sure! I cannot help but think that there is SOME connection--a Nobel prize to

the doc who figures it out!

Last, when I was at my worst, I was under more " stress, " but now it seems that

whatever stress was there anyway I just had no strength or resilience to handle.

I had a terribly short temper, and had no energy. AND, sex hormones were out of

whack too.

I am losing weight now, and have begun to feel better for at least two months or

so--sustained. Hallelujah!

Jolly ( is even more jolly now!)

Best of luck to you. It was hell and back for me.

I really am getting my life back--

cholestyramine

Low dose naltrexone 4.5 mg

T3-150 mcg

Vyvanse- 50 mg

Neurontin - 300 mg

I htink you may be tryign to push too much T3 too fast, and shoudltry to

consolidate doses to 4-5 ties a day.
