Guest guest
3.80 or 380 divided by 9 = 42.0 or something like that. So since I'm at 12.14 and reversing, and your number is above 20, the rt3 looks good to me. (Correct me if I'm wrong, someone). To raise ferritin, I'm taking Bluebonnet Iron, 27 mg tabs, 6 - 8 per day. Val recommends 150 - 200 mg per day to raise levels. Wish I had your rt3 level! Subject: New Labs--thoughts?To: RT3_T3 Date: Thursday, June 17, 2010, 10:48 PM Just got my labs from June 1 back. I have been on 30mcgs cytomel for the past 6 months or so. I am also in the process of doing a saliva test to test my estrogen and progesterone throughout my entire cycle. Can some one calculate my FT3/RT3 ratio for me? How do I raise my ferritin and do I need more Vit D?Thanks!
Guest guest
Val keeps her Vitamin D at about 100. Guest guest
Just saw my ND to review my labs. He wants me to switch over to 1 grain of Armour and maybe still keep 5 or 10 mcgs cytomel. He wants to raise my FT4 as it appears that my RT3 has cleared. He also suggested an iron supplement to try and raise my ferritin. Any thought or opinions on this? > > > > Just got my labs from June 1 back. I have been on 30mcgs cytomel for the past 6 months or so. Guest guest
wITH FERRITIN THAT LOW i WOUDL NTO ADD IN t4 JUST YET. Vitamin D shoudl be at least 80-90. You cannto tell if RT3 has cleared by blood labs as it si in the receptors not the blood. But I doubt too many doctors would believe that. Your ratio is 42 which si fine except LOW FERRitin CAUSES rT3 SO AS SOON AS YOU RAISE t4 IT WIL COME RIGHT BACK. yOU have TO GET RID OF THE CAUSES OF rt3 FOR TI TO STAY GONE. Is that blood cortisol an am level? If it was done 7-9Am it is VERY lwo. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ > Just saw my ND to review my labs.
