I have received two treatments with " Venofer " 300mg.... they attach the saline

bag and drip that first and then add the Venofer... As long as there are no

complications, I was in and out in 1 hour the last time...

I don't test my blood until the 25th of the month and follow-up with the doc the

following week...

I had to go through prior-authorization with my insurance company but they

approved it...

Just the saline. If another IV med is also needed, it is NOT mixed with the

Venofer bag, it is given in a separate bag, either before or after the Venofer

IV is finished.
