Guest guest
Lee had good results with the magnesium oil, here's the link to her post that mentions it: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/38439 Every post I have seen about the Ancient Minerals brand has been positive. Here's a link to Ancient Minerals: http://www.amazon.com/Ancient-Minerals-Ultra-Pure-Magnesium/dp/B001AD0HL8/ref=sr\ _1_1?ie=UTF8 & s=hpc & qid=1275489591 & sr=1-1 Ancient Minerals IS very expensive (8 oz for $29). There's a less expensive brand (12 oz for $19.95); it appears to be the same stuff as the Ancient Minerals, but I don't know that for certain. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/TransDerma-Magnesium-Oil-12-ounces/dp/B002XRB9OE/ref=sr_1_\ 2?ie=UTF8 & s=hpc & qid=1275489591 & sr=1-2 A few people have mentioned that the magnesium oil causes a minor skin irritation. Ancient Minerals recommends diluting the mag oil 50/50 with water if this happens, this will usually eliminate any irritation. > > Dr. Carolyn Dean commented on magnesium in a post recently: > > http://drcarolyndean.com/tips?e=0065-1 & p=2061 in which she says, > > " As you may know by now, I don't limit my magnesium recommendations > to any one product or company. Guest guest
I'm going to try that oil. If you take the oil do you have to stop oral magnesium? Can I put the oil directly on my back/hips and neck where I have pain? > > > > Dr. Carolyn Dean commented on magnesium in a post recently: > > > > http://drcarolyndean.com/tips?e=0065-1 & p=2061 in which she says, > > > > " As you may know by now, I don't limit my magnesium recommendations > > to any one product or company. Guest guest
I find it very useful to use the oil directly on sore muscles. Instead of diluting it with water, I just pat a little water onto my skin before I spray the oil. You can use the oil in additon to oral magnesium. The oil doesn't cause diarrhea. I think I remember that ten sprays equals 100 mg. AnnSent from my iPhone I'm going to try that oil. If you take the oil do you have to stop oral magnesium? Guest guest
I got the oil yesterday that was recommended. I sprayed several sprays directly on my low back/hips when I woke up. I did not rub in, was I supposed to? I didn't feel any burning at all on my skin. Guest guest
I always rub it around for better coverage. Also I think it dries faster. I don't really know which way absorbs better. Guest guest
I usually rub it it, but I doubt whether that makes too much difference; it's just a little less messy! I never felt any burning at all, I believe that some people's skin is more sensitive to it. I CAN say for sure that the mag oil is working for me, I just got an RBC magnesium test and it's gone up a little. Finally. The oral mag just never raised the RBC. > > > > > > > > Dr. Carolyn Dean commented on magnesium in a post recently: > > > > > > > > http://drcarolyndean.com/tips?e=0065-1 & p=2061 in which she says, > > > > > > > > " As you may know by now, I don't limit my magnesium recommendations > > > > to any one product or company. Guest guest
Thank you. I'll try that tomorrow.
