Guest guest
" If a person has high RT3 and apparently normal thyroid panel values in FT4, FT3, T3 but still experiencing hypothyroid symptoms (such as depression, consistent low body temp, fatigue, etc..) then basically the T3 is unable to be used by the body and just pools in the blood because of the RT3 blocking the receptors... is this correct? " Yes this is correct. I would hold that 100mcg (what brand?) as you do not want too high blood levels of T3 to build up before clearance as it CAN happen very much all at once. Some people feel a bit of a trickle of T3 getting through to the cells before the main clearance others do nto feel muhc at all till it clears. It is liekly the low T3 was the cause of your adrneal stress adn now thta those levels are i8mproving the adrenals are stronger. I would hold that HC dose until full clearance in 4 more weeks. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
Thanks Val for answering my question... I am using Tiromel t3 and a compounding pharmacy t3 (script for t3 that I got from my doc but I was only given a 2 months supply @ 50mcg/per day) thats why I had to do a combo of both t3's that I have.. i will be ordering the Cynomel from the source you sent me... So for right now I should hold T3 @ 100mcg and HC @ 10mg????? > > " If a person has high RT3 and apparently normal thyroid panel values in FT4, FT3, T3 but still experiencing hypothyroid symptoms (such as depression, consistent low body temp, fatigue, etc..) then basically the T3 is unable to be used by the body and just pools in the blood because of the RT3 blocking the receptors... is this correct? Guest guest
OK ths explains alot. I tried Tyromel.. I was up to 300mcg a day and stil felt NOTHING from it. It si VERY weak! I even did labs while taking it and my FT3 was at the bottom of the range on 300mcg. SO when you switch to Cynomel, be sure to reduce the dose! -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
