Guest guest
Yes to the first one and it is worth a try . Many times people just have to try new things wiht dosing to find what works for them. I have seen many folks that 12.5 was too much in the morning for so try it! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
You could try it, though frankly I don't think 12.5 mg " kills the ACTH " . I have done as much as 20 mg in the morning and it did not throw off the rest of the day nor did I sleep any worse. Cheri -----Original Message----- Sorry one more question, OK two: I usually take 5mg at 6:30PM and 5mg at 10 - 10:30 before bed (with cream) so take the 5mg at 6:30 and take the pred at 8 correct? Second question is whether I should try another dosing schedule before trying the pred that someone mentioned over on Real Thyroid (there are a couple of active insomnia threads going on over there right now). Right now I dose 12.5 - 10 - 7.5 - 5 - 5. She suggested reducing that first dose by 2.5 and putting it with the 4th dose so 10 - 10 - 7.5 - 7.5 - 5 at bed-time. Her theory is that big doses in the AM are killing ACTH for the rest of the day, including over-night I guess, which is leading to the insomnia. .
